A reminder that HS women's basketball (9th-12th) workouts will be today, August 28 and Wednesday, August 30. Open gym will start at 3:05 pm and end at 4:10 pm. We will be working on fundamentals of basketball and conditioning. Please make sure to upload a current copy of your sport physical onto Dragonfly. Middle School Boys' Soccer will have tryouts on Monday, August 21 and Tuesday, August 22 from 3:30 - 5 PM at RCS, weather permitting. Please bring cleats and shin guards. Please also make sure physicals are up to date and everything is complete on Dragonfly.
The final open houses are done! Our 7th and 8th graders were here tonight getting acquainted with their new teachers and expectations, as well as reconnecting with friends. Only one more day until the school year begins!

Our high school students were in the building tonight for our open house. There were of lots of reunions, introductions, and class schedule tours. We are excited to see all our high school students fill the halls again in just a few days.
In preparation for tomorrow’s open house and our first home volleyball game, we ask those coming for the Middle School Open House to park in the Woody Parking Lot, which is the student lot behind the school. If you are coming from Uptown down Depot street, you will turn right onto Foushee street and then left into the parking lot. You will then enter the building through that back entrance.
If you are attending the volleyball game, you can park in the main parking lot.

RCS faculty and staff gathered together today for this year's opening meeting to get prepared for the start of school next week. It was a morning full of information, conversations and preparation! We are so excited to start this new school year off next week! It's going to be a great one!
We also honored our two "OG" teachers, Christy King and Christa Jones. They are the only remaining teachers who were here the year RCS opened! They received an "OG" chain necklace and then shared some fun memories from the first couple years the school was open. We are so grateful for them and all they have done for RCS over the years!
A special thank you to DATCO for providing lunch for our staff today as well.
