The Roxboro Community School Board of Directors will hold its annual Planning Retreat on Tuesday, July 2, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Board Room at Person Memorial Hospital. A light breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m.
Drop/Add Dates for 2019-2020 are August 5 for Seniors;
August 6 for Juniors, and August 7 for Sophomores and Freshmen.

RCS is seeking a high school math teacher for the 2019-20 school year. This full-time position reports to the High School Principal. RCS said goodbye to four family members today. Nancy Clayton, Faye Daniel, Jean Johnson and Gina Lunsford retired. We wish them all well, but they will be missed.
Roxboro Community School (RCS) high school science teacher Ashley Bailey is the 2019-2020 Teacher of the Year.
Are we sad Gina Lunsford is retiring? Yes! But, she seems fine with it.
The Fall Sports Athletic Preseason Meeting for high school and middle school parents will be Wednesday, August 7, at 6 p.m., in the gym. Athletic packets will be handed out, and paperwork will be turned in at this meeting. This includes High School Volleyball, Cross Country, Men's Soccer and Women's Tennis, Women's Golf, and Middle School Volleyball, Girls' Tennis and Boys' Soccer.
